An outdoors person who finds grounding in trees and forests and rocks, my professional focus is on botany, gardening, ecological restoration, environmental education, sustainable living and environmental justice. These interests have led me to travel and live amongst different kinds of communities, human and plant.

I see ecological restoration to be a beautiful expression of human caring and collaboration at its best, but also sometimes potentially misguided by hubris. A platform for informed and collaborative restoration is very timely.

Currently I work with The Habitats Trust as a Deputy Manager of the Eco-Restoration Program.
