I am a forestry graduate specializing in forest resource management. I’m driven by the science of ecological restoration, particularly aspects related to invasive alien flora.

I am currently working on my postgraduate project “Invasibility and risk assessment of Ageratina adenophora or Crofton weed in Pampadum Shola National Park, Kerala”.

I’m looking at factors that influence Crofton weed invasion. (The plant is a significant threat in restoration efforts, creating severe secondary invasions when exotics are removed and the region is cleared.) Working on invasive flora has helped me understand how secondary invasions impede efficient restoration efforts.

I intend to focus more on secondary invasions, their mechanisms, and management techniques in the future.
