I am a biodiversity management professional with 21 years of experience focusing on mangrove ecosystem, environment education, solid waste management, EMS ISO14001 and Business Excellence. Some of my initiatives include development of biodiversity garden at Alibaug, development of medicinal garden at Godrej, making Asia’s first mobile app on 67 mangrove species in 11 languages, awareness campaign on turtle conservation at Konkan and mitigation of man-leopard conflicts at Mumbai. I am recognized as ‘Darwin Scholar in Biodiversity Management & Education’ from the Field Studies Council, UK. I am a member of IUCN Commissions on Western Ghats Plant Specialist Group & Conservation Education.
