In 2016 Himanshu Arteev, Jananee Mohan and I founded Ananas, a permaculture / ecological landscape design firm in Bangalore. Working mostly with private clients on their lands, we do whole systems design – meaning we find ways for them to support themselves on that land in a way that is considerate of and nested in the local ecosystem. In addition to this we conduct volunteer days and workshops with adults and children to connect them with ecology, and we recently started a nursery for native plants.
