Abhishek Gulshan is a Delhi-based Naturalist, Nature Educator, birdwatcher, professional travel specialist and the founder of the Nature Education and Awareness Initiative “NINOX – Owl about Nature”, specialising in on-field experiential programmes. His goal is to bring citizens closer to nature and sensitise them towards the environment. The initiative was founded in 2017 and ever since, it has been associated with several student bodies and teacher associations of Schools as well as Universities.

He was the author of the weekly column, ‘In my backyard’, in the newspaper “The Hindu”, between 2019 to 2020 for over a year and 4 months, making people aware of native flora, fauna (both resident and migratory) that one may observe in their backyard.
