I was a faculty, project lead, and journal editor at Ecological Society Pune from 2013-17. I am still a visiting faculty there. This organization and its founder, Prakash Gole were pioneers in Ecological Restoration in India. Personally I worked on exploring restoration opportunities in dam catchments and exploring socio-economic issues in dam catchments in W. Ghats. Currently I have my organization EocUniv focused on creating environmental education frameworks on an open source basis. Conservation and eco-restoration will also be a part of such content.
