Wasima completed her master’s in ecological restoration from Dibrugarh University. Currently, she works with Aaranyak as an outreach facilitator and looks after various capacity building initiatives to enable youth and communities of the state to achieve sustainable living. Earlier, she worked with the Farm2Food Foundation where she led different initiatives related to community mobilisation and developing entrepreneurship zeal in the field of organic firming. She is passionate about studying animal behaviour, habitat preservation, wildlife conservation and environmental science.
