I have been a part of the Restore Aarey Forest Project since 2020. Although I majored in psychology and wasn’t trained in botany, frequent visits to study forests have trained my eye nevertheless. I am extremely passionate about Plants, Funga, Traditional ecological knowledge and the language that indigenous communities use to describe and interact with the natural world.

I, along with my friends, have also started The Native Heritage Project, near Mumbai, to document indigenous knowledge about plants, intergenerational transfer of knowledge, and nature based economy & conservation.
