I led the ecological restoration of Tilpath Valley Biodiversity Park in New Delhi, transforming 70 hectares of degraded land into a thriving ecosystem by reintroducing native vegetation and enhancing biodiversity. Besides restoration, I specialize in biodiversity conservation and wildlife research.
In the past I conducted research on sloth bears, which underscored the importance of understanding wildlife behavior for effective species management. It focused on their reproductive physiology and behavior. As part of it, I conducted hormonal assays, behavioral observations and laboratory analysis, contributing insights into their estrous cycles and conservation needs.
I have a Master’s in Forestry from the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun.
