I am part of the team that engages in restoration work in Darjeeling through Project SERVE Darjeeling, WWF India. Over the last 25 years, WWF India has restored more than 500 hectares of land within the Darjeeling and Kalimpong hills. The restoration program is an ongoing work that aims to enhance connectivity between wildlife corridors, enhance water security through restoration of springs and watersheds, and prevent further degradation of the landscape.
