Monika bridges communication, design thinking & sustainable futures, and connects thought to action and impact. She is the founder of Sky Blue Design, and has designed over 500 books, magazines and newsletters. She’s worked with UNICEF, The World Bank, The British Council, DFID, National Gallery of Modern Art, The Rewilders, IAMGURGAON among others to create communications material which encompasses social, humanitarian and development subjects.

She is also a design educator, and weaves issues of sustainability into her teaching at the undergraduate level. She feels that design is a powerful tool to communicate, engage and inspire, and should be deployed to solve real-world problems, to create thriving ecosystems and to nurture genuinely empathetic communities.

Monika is also a waste management & soil rejuvenation evangelist, and champions green living both at a personal, community and city level. She’s drawn towards working with ecosystems.
