We’re based in Velvandi valley of North Western Ghats. We, at Forest Hut, are committed to restore Velvandi valley’s biodiversity. We carry out ecological restoration activities in the valley using Permaculture ethics & values – Earth care & People care. Our projects are designed & implemented leveraging local community skills of farmers & artisans.

We believe in small size projects because they are planned better, efficient to implement & easier to look after. The smaller size gives our projects the best chance to develop into a native, diverse & resilient eco-system.
