Dr N Manika is a natural resource management expert with over a decade of experience in landscape level conservation and management, sustainable development, climate change and nature-based solutions. Her work is deeply rooted at the intersection of research, strategic policy and practical action.

At IORA Ecological Solutions, she is involved in multidimensional projects aimed at enhancing ecosystem health and resilience, integrating perspectives from government, communities, and the private sector to achieve significant outcomes in biodiversity conservation, strengthened livelihoods and sustainable development.

Beyond her professional endeavors, she is actively involved with the Commission on Ecosystem Management of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), championing ecosystem-based approaches to conservation. She is also an avid writer with more than 40 peer reviewed papers, book chapters, and articles to her credit.
