Madhavan works with ERA on documenting and gathering information on the 51 ecoregions within India. He is interested in observing, and conducting research on the complex dynamics of the ecological world and portraying these larger processes through photography, art, writing and music. He is currently a long-term intern with the Nature Conservation Foundation working with endangered trees, ecological restoration and other dynamics associated with fragmentary ecosystems.
