I’m an enthusiastic Arborist. I’m skilled at identifying plants and have gained knowledge through projects on tree surveys, carbon stock assessment, plant taxonomy, and ecology. I’ve also actively participated in conservation efforts and raised awareness on various environmental issues.
My work often involves trekking through diverse landscapes, observing wildlife behaviour and biodiversity patterns, collecting samples, and collaborating with local communities to promote conservation efforts. I’ve collaborated on projects with institutes like Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB) and am always eager to work with NGOs or government organizations involved in wildlife conservation and taxonomic research.
I have a deep love for nature and trees, and am particularly interested in the reproductive biology of trees in the Southern Western Ghats.
I’m dedicated to using scientific research to inform conservation policies and practices, with the ultimate goal of preserving our planet’s incredible biodiversity for future generations.
