I am currently pursuing a PhD in Rural Development from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), as part of the project – Can community forest governance improve rural prosperity and well-being from forest restoration?

I’m particularly interested in understanding restoration over time from the perspective of governance, gender, and human wellbeing. My fieldwork often takes me to Himachal Pradesh.

I’ve also worked with the Foundation for Ecological Security (FES) in the rural areas of Central India in the domain of natural resource management and governance.
