I am a wildlife ecologist with research interests lying at the interface of conservation biology and wildlife management. I have been working in the Saurashtra/Kathaiwar peninsula in the state of Gujarat for over a decade. My research includes ecological studies on species like Nilgai, Blackbuck, Chinkara, Four-Horned Antelope, Asiatic Lion, Indian Pangolin, Indian Wolf and Lesser Florican. I also have a keen interest in studying the vegetation structure in these diverse habitats and developing a better understanding for their scientific management.
