Network for Conserving Central India

I’m a conservation scientist focused on human-nature interactions and connectivity conservation. My doctoral research, around Kanha National Park, highlighted the importance of stable incomes in achieving food security and sustainable forest use for resettled and non-resettled communities.

I’ve previously conducted fieldwork in 3 global biodiversity hotspots – in Ecuador, Kenya, and Madagascar. I now mostly work, along with several collaborators, on connectivity conservation and biocultural conservation around the Kanha National Park and more broadly in central India.
