Interested in animals, trees, sea turtle conservation (coordinator/trustee in Students’ Sea Turtle Conservation Network, Chennai), afforestation work and education. Also working in my native village (Alangadu, in Nagapattinam District) on livelihoods for women (upscaling, cloth bags, tree planting, vegetable gardening, water conservation ponds and education and craft activities for kids.) Enabled training from the Forest Way nursery for 2 teams of young people from my village and a neighbouring village for setting up nurseries in their villages.
